PictureOne, Two, Pee-Yew!
The Mayor is ablaze!  Dashing letters and press releases all over the state claiming that Creedmoor voted to sell their system to SGWASA last Tuesday night.

The Mayor and The ‘Ommissioners are certainly pursuing a forked tongue approach here – on numerous occasions Tuesday night and also in the very “resolution” that they DID pass, Creedmoor officials make it clear they still are pursuing the sewage plant. The “resolution” by the way does not say they WILL sell their system to SGWASA- just that Creedmoor might if the rest of the county caves in to all their demands.  The new sewage plant is NOT off the table! Do not be deceived!

But, if The Mayor and The ‘Ommissioners want to convince us that this is more than some pre-election engineering, there are some things they could do.

1) Stop threatening the community and the state with the unnecessary, environmentally destructive and financially insane sewage plant.  Take it out of the resolution!  Get it off the table.

2) Withdraw the loan application from USDA-RD.

3) Resign from the Tar Pamlico Basin Association.  If Creedmoor doesn’t build the plant, why do they need the membership?

4) Give the discharge allocation back to the North Carolina Department of Natural Resources. If Creedmoor doesn't build the plant, why do they need the allocation?

But The Mayor and The Commissioners being who they are- folks who carry grudges back to the 70’s, entrenched in power, unable to understand the outrage the entire community and county has been subjected to by their actions, will most likely never take the actions necessary to heal the community, to build ties to the citizens, to move forward into a better Granville County. Trust in government is the most precious commodity and they just don’t get it.

Creedmoor continues to plan for landmass, rooftops, and taxes- never giving any consideration to the citizen who lives under that rooftop.

When will these men begin to demonstrate that they understand every tax dollar received comes from their neighbors’ pocket?

Oh well… sweet dreams….

If they won't take this stupid plant off the table, let's not miss the opportunity to take two of them off the table in this election.

Time for new blood on the Board instead of the SOS.

Agree those two guys are well past their "sell by" date.

As you say , they're starting to STINK.

Why don't you make it a threesome and send the Mayor packing?

He seems to be right in there rolling in the mud.

If they ever do sell to SGWASA, they need to give the schools back the $140,000 the Mayor confessed that he has overcharged them. That cost Creedmoor 3 or 4 teachers every year.

Way to go Mayor.

Word here is the Repub's at the environmental agency (DENR) are on to the underhanded dealings by the guys in Creedmoor to try and illegally get the sewer plant.

There is no discussion on a plant permit. Isn't going to happen evidently. Hopefully there is discussion about turning the highjinks over to the attorney general.

Maybe they can serve out their term of office over at the federal country club in Butner.

A federal residence might be good for the Mayor, he's always thought Butner was in his ETJ anyway.

The federal pen is one way to give the Commissioners SCWASA service.

Bread and SGWASA water for a diet.

This is an obvious ploy on the part of the mayor and 'omissioners to attempt to throw the election and fool everyone to think they are co-operating. Just another smokescreen Mr. Moss. We know you and your cohorts want to control all of Southern Granville County. Expaneded services areas and etj's? Do you think we are that dumb? Just stay tuned..............more to come.

I saw the Mayor at the candidates forum last night and he basically admitted that he and the commissioners are complete fools. He seemed surprised the rest of the folks in Granville County didn't just roll over on Creditor's latest group of imperial demands.

Nothing seems to embarrass these guys!

You noticed that the two sitting commissioners were afraid to go to the candidates meeting and face the public. Those two know they have made a mess in Creedmoor.

There were three good new candidates there.

Shown the door, progress at last. Word is getting around.

That's got to be a bad joke. Our Mayor on an enviromental committee/

No way. Like having Putin on a democracy committee

Can the same guys give him the boot as mayor?

Lots of folks hoping he'll just resign since even the commissioners voted no confidence in his leadership. How bad is that - even the commissioners don't like their pawn.

More good news. the enviro folks (DENR) here in Raleigh are having an Environmental Resources Commission meeting next week - Oct, 9 I think - and Creedmoor's sewer shenanigan's are front and center on the agenda.

You know the Repub's have been pretty persistent in rooting out "wrong doings" in gov't; They're bulldogs on ethics.

Stay tuned.

Thought that Creedmoor had demanded an answer to their "resolution', what happens next?

The Mayor sure has gotten quiet, caught again in "misstatements"?

How often do you get to lie on the front page of the BC News without someone noticing?

Word has it that new DENR folks know the underhanded deal for discharge rights into the Tar was struck while your Mayor was on the Commission.

Smells like an under the table, insider deal. A political payoff... maybe that's what stinks in Creedmoor.

Liked the write-in idea for mayor, but would prefer a write-off!

I'm casting my write-in vote as "ANYBODY BUT DARRYL".

Hope you will do a post on the Commission meeting today here in Raleigh.

Hope they start to clear the air on this plant and stop the stink in Creedmoor.
