PictureFlush with money!
“Just saw in the newspaper where the city of Butner bought a piece of property on Central Avenue. The owner of the property wanted over $500,000 for it. Lo and behold, Butner paid for an appraisal and the land appraised for $300,000.00. Butner actually saved its citizenry $200,000 and threw "at arm's length" out the window!!!! Looks like Creedmoor needs to take lessons from Butner.”

In case you missed it, front page article in The Butner Creedmoor News on Thursday, August 8,  “Butner Agrees to Purchase Land Next to Gazebo Park”

Another confirmation the folks in Creedmoor got rolled by The Mayor and The ‘Ommissioners who continue to throw taxpayer’s hard-earned money at an unnecessary, environmentally destructive, and financially insane sewage plant.

And that’s many folks’ “arms length” assessment of why...

Creedmoor had a major water main break on Hwy 56 Friday and had to issue a "boil water" advisory. A friend told me he saw Mayor Moss down in the hole "inspecting" the break. Looks like he should maybe apply to work in the maintenance department, since he and the "ommisioners" are so good at hiding money in different holes!!
