Let’s take a look at the population projections that The Creedmoor Commissioners used in the federal loan application “to justify” the new sewage plant.

To get a $27 million federal loan Creedmoor has to prove the need for a new sewage plant, and that there will be enough people in Creedmoor to repay the loan! (that means you and me!)  To belly up to the federal trough, The Commissioners used a little fantasy rather than reality.  Yet one more example of insulated government officials working against our best interests behind closed doors with paid consultants.  It’s amazing how theory and data usually match up in that situation!!

Here are the fantasy numbers –

Insulated government officials + paid consultants’ work = Fantasy!

What makes “made up” numbers even worse, is when the federal application was submitted,
The Commissioners knew they were using bogus numbers!

If you or I filed a falsified federal loan application, we’d be prosecuted in a heartbeat.

Evidently, with The Commissioners, normal rules don’t apply.
