Any reasonable person can read the comments made by all the agencies on the City of Creedmoor’s Environmental Assessment and know that the Hester Road sewage plant could not be approved, permitted, and built until after the dust has settled over all the lawsuits. Plus there is just NO WAY that Creedmoor will not be required to do an Environmental Impact Study (EIS) –something that usually take at least 2-3 years and lots of dollars to complete. So we are looking at years and many, many more dollars. We are reasonable people. We would join SGWASA.
But, what do all the unreasonable men do that are the City Commissioners of Creedmoor? They are continuing to talk about building this plant and just 3 weeks ago bought land on both Hester Road and Cannady’s Mill Road.
$282,022.93 is the total flushed away on the land deals by the fat cat Commissioners of Creedmoor with some of your extra tax money that was just laying around.
Both land plots are well out of city limits, not useful to Creedmoor residents for much of anything. That money could have bought land for a new fire station or city park. (I am sure Creedmoor residents could come up with other things.) Apparently there are no pressing needs whatsoever in the City of Creedmoor except for sewage.
This is what the minds of unreasonable men have focused on for over 6 years. In closed session after closed session. With sealed minutes. Meeting after meeting for 6 years. Trying to build an unneeded sewage plant for Creedmoor. After the comments came in on “The City’s” sewage proposal, any reasonable person would know they were toast.
But they aren’t reasonable are they?
